Something unreal happen before the beginning of the world tour: Russian actor,
singer VITAS played one of the leading parts in the historical film "MULAN",
the director is JINGLE MA (Russian audience knows him by his works "Mummy" and "Mummy-2").
VITAS was so confident and original at the shootings "MULAN" so that he got an invitation
to the participation in three large-scale film projects in the studios of Hong- Kong and the USA.
Vitas's story as an actor has just begun and the first step, which struck the participants of the film crew and the audience,
has already been done.
The worlds premiere of "MULAN" is anticipated in winter, 2009.
Of
course, the film soundtrack has been recorded by Vitas in Beijing
studio at the first take, performing five and a half octaves which are
exorbitant even for VITAS.
But this was the task because the army of
many thousands got going to the battle with his voice.

VITAS: Vitaly Vladasovich Grachovy er født 19.februar 1979.
Vitas er oppvokst i Odessa,Ukraina.
Han viste tidlig interesse for musikk.
Den unge Vitas bestefar lærte han å spille trekkspill,og Vitas begynte å skrive og komponere sanger alerede som barn.
Senere ,i tenårene begynte han å studere mussikk mere formelt.
Gikk bl.a, på en kunstskole i Odessa.
Vitas ble oppdagen av russeren Sergey Pudovkin,som spurte om
Vitas ville bli med til Moskwa.
Vitas takket ja,og reiste til Moskwa,
og Pudovkin er fremdeles hans manager.
Man ser ham ofte på foto av Vitas.
Fra dengangen han reiste til Moskwa og Pudovkin, er som et stort "eventyr",
dog et sant et.
VITAS er mer eller mindre kjent over hele verden for sin unike sang.

HVORDAN jeg fant Vitas:
Jeg lette etter noe på Youtube. Fant ikke det jeg lette etter,men plustselig såg jeg en video jeg fikk lyst til å lytte til. Den hadde rød bakgrunnsfarge ,og het "Cranes Crying." (Tranens gråt/skrik)
Jeg ble veldig overasket. Hadde aldri hørt en lignende stemme.
Ikke merkelig han går under navnet "Diamantstemmen" ( The Diamond Voice)
DEt ble starten på min beundring for denne unike artisten !!
Han har fantastiske videoer,hvor man ser han store karisma,energi,skinnende glede,sorg,varme osv. som stråler fra senen og ut til publikum.
Også gjennom TVskjermer og videroer.
Han designer også klær. Bl-a designer han alle sine scenekostymer selv.
Han komponerer og skriver fortsatt tekster,men bruker også andres komposisjoner iblandt.
I 2009 spilte han i filmen om MULAN,og hadde også kjenningsmelodien der.
Jeg har prøvd å finne videoer som viser Vitas i forsjellige "settinger".
Fra vemodige sanger til det helt motsatte.
Han mistet sin mor i ung alder,noe som ga ham Stor sorg, som vi alle kan forstå.
Han skrev flere sanger til henne,og de rører alltid veldig sterkt mitt og alles hjerte.
På alle hans konserter synger han Alltid: Mama .
Den finnes herinne,noe dårlig lyd,men verd å se !!
Likedan er" Dedication" også til hans mor.
I 2009 ble ham pappa til lille Alla,
som du ogaå finnes inne på en video her.

Nå er alle tekster og nyheter jeg finner nesten alltid på russisk eller engelsk.
Derfor er det mye engelsk her. Men jeg tror de fleste behersker det i dag.
Og i og med at denne hjemmesiden favner både Norge/Scandinavia og ellers flere land i Europa,så blir det meste på engelsk.

Born Vitaliy Vladasovich Grachyov on 19 February 1979
, Vitas was raised in Odessa, Ukraine.
He showed an interest in music from an early age. The young Vitaliy's
grandfather taught him to play accordion,
and he began writing songs as a child. He later studied music more
formally. He attended an art school in Odessa and as a teenager appeared
in various theatrical productions. He was "discovered" by visiting
producer/manager Sergey Pudovkin, who asked Vitas if he would come to
Moscow. This invitation was extended on the basis of Vitas' acting
skills: Pudovkin had not yet heard him sing. Vitas travelled to Moscow
with demos of his music and began working with Pudovkin
Development
of music and imageThe album A Kiss As Long As Eternity was released on 8 October
2004. Around 2004 to 2005, Vitas became the most popular touring artist in
Russia. His premiere "The Songs of My Mother" was acknowledged "the best
musical event of the year."
The Production Center "Pudovkin" organized a major world tour with
the program "The Songs of My Mother" in Russia and the USA, Germany,
Kazakhstan, Israel and the Baltic States in 2004–2006. In June 2006, Vitas was invited by CCTV to take part in the grand
event "The Year of Russia in China" in Beijing. Vitas performed two
songs, "Star" and "Opera No. 2," in that program. Vitas' premiere "Return Home" took place in March 2007 on the stage
of Kosmos. More than twenty new Vitas' compositions were included in the
premiere. Many new songs have become favorites for fans via the
Internet such as "Crane's Crying", "Shores of Russia", "I Ask All
Saints", "The Little Prince", "I Repeat Your Name" and others. In October 2007, Vitas was signed with American company Gemini Sun
Records. Gemini Sun has released the Audio Visual Connect Series Vitas
compilation CD + DVD set featuring 8 music videos with the corresponding
songs also on audio CD, plus a bonus audio track. In 2008, Vitas was the only foreign artist to sing at the Beijing Olympics kickoff concert in
July. He also released his single Light of A New Day, a 40-minute
track of vocalization and instrumentation with no lyrics. The song is
available as a free download on his website. "Sleepless Night" tour includes concerts in China; Vitas wears more
elaborate costumes in this concert than his "Return Home" programme.
Vitas performed his "Return Home" concert in Bucharest, Romania on 25
February 2009. This concert was broadcast on Romanian television
networks TVR2 and TVRi, achieving their highest ratings in twelve months
Also, a benefit concert, with Vitas performing "The Star" was held on
12 May 2009 in Sichuan province in memory of the victims of the
earthquake that occurred the previous year; a song known as "Mommy and
Son" was released in late October 2009 in remembrance of earthquake
victims. Vitas is one of the stars in the Chinese film Mulan about the life of legendary and mythical
heroine Hua Mulan, which premiered in Beijing on November 16, 2009.[17]

Life as Fashion Designer
Vitas presented his collection of the clothes "Autumn Dreams" on the stage of
the State Kremlin Palace in September 29, 2002. The show included 42 styles of
ladies’ outfits some of which had already been displayed in Almaty, Vilnius,
Berlin, Tashkent, Tel Aviv, Ashkelon. At present Mr. Pudovkin is holding
negotiations with western companies to create and promote the Vitas brand as his
own line of clothing.
